These terms are the agreement between you and Ajraan. They are written plainly on purpose. The short version: Ajraan is a planning tool that helps you set a Hajj savings goal and track your progress. Today it does not hold your money, move your money, or give you financial advice.
Ajraan is operated by Massive W.L.L., a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Where these terms say "we" or "Ajraan", that is who you are dealing with. Questions go to hello@ajraan.com.
Ajraan lets you set a Hajj savings goal based on your departure country, target year, travellers and package, and record what you have set aside. Your money stays where you keep it. Ajraan holds no funds, operates no account on your behalf, and moves nothing. What you log is a record you are keeping, and the progress you see is arithmetic on that record.
Features described elsewhere as planned, including a savings wallet, sukuk growth, Wasiyyah and Hajj Badal, are not part of the service today. When any of them launch, they will have their own terms and, where the law requires it, the appropriate regulatory permissions.
You must be 18 or over. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at hello@ajraan.com if you think someone else has access. Give accurate information, particularly if identity verification is ever required of you.
What you enter stays yours. You give Ajraan permission to store and process it in order to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. Package prices and names are pooled in anonymised form so the cost estimates improve for everyone; that pooling contains nothing that identifies you, and you can switch it off in your account settings.
Hajj costs change, quotas change, and exchange rates change. Ajraan's estimates are exactly that. We work to keep the service available and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions you take based on an estimate. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
You can delete your account at any time from account settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully or in a way that harms other savers, and we will tell you why where we are able to.
If these terms change materially, we will say so in the app and update the date above. Continuing to use Ajraan after a change means you accept the new version. The current version always lives at ajraan.com/terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections of your local law.
